Lengths of handprinted screen printed fabric on 100% dupion silk 137cm wide

The base fabric is chocolate colour and is a three-colour print with red, green and beige coloured details.

Amanda is a Yawuru woman living in Broome. Amanda loves fishing, hunting and gathering and being on country as this is part of her Yawuru heritage.

Amanda’s artwork stems from her inspiration from the land and sea and old people’s stories.

Yamiyarri (Gubinge) is a medicinal plant that grows in the Kimberley region and is very potent in vitamin C.
