Artist story:
Amanda Rose is a Yawuru woman based in Broome. This designs shows the yingarliwa (blue blone) and gulban (mullet). Amanda Rose loves going fishing with her family and these two fish are some of her favourite to catch with her landline. “You’ve gotta wait for Mangala Season (the wet season) to catch these reef fish because that’s when they are nice and fat.”
